so i hear that hair wax makes your hair spikey but looks natural and dry unlike gel, is this what those guys is DBSK use to spike their hair? but i also hear that hair wax makes your hair really greasy, is that true?
Hair wax and hair spray what are the pros and cons?
Heey, i use both.
With hair wax, it can make your hair look really shiny and soft and you can do whatever you want with it BUT if you put too much on it makes your hair look way greasy. So if you are thinking of using hair wax when you put it on, put a small amount on, then if you need some more but a bit more on and so on...until you have just the right amount on.
With hairspray, if you want to use it to spike up your hair, i don't think it is as good. You'll also have to put loads of it on and it feels crispy and can look like cardboard. I think it can also dull the colours in your hair. If you style your hair, eg. have a fringe. and want it to stay in place put a bit of hairspray on it but if you spike the rest of it up go for wax.
I normally hairspray my fringe and make my top of my hair really big with wax.
Hope i've helped! xxx
Hair wax and hair spray what are the pros and cons?
When I had my hair short in the back I would use hair wax. It lasted longer than hair spray did and it didn't flake or get too messed up when it was misty out like hair spray. When it did get wet it was easy to just twist or scrunch back into place. When it comes to wax, a little goes along way. If you use too much, your hair will look greasy and won't spike up very well. Just put enough so that u have a thin layer on your finger tips and you're good to go. Hair spray always makes your hair kind of crunchy unlike wax where it's still able to move and doesn't look rock hard.
