Hair colour!?

i have sandy/blonde hair, with hints of brown, i have NEVER dyed my hair, and i wanted to know if i should get black, white and purple underlights shot through my hair?? (i have blue eyes, pale skin) thanks xxx

why not, if your young its the best time to go crazy with your hairstyles and colour! when you get older you can say wow, i remember when my hair was like this! and show your kids haha

Just get the purple and I think it would look great, but don't forget to take a photo and post it as your main picture so we can all see

I'd say not. I am a hairdresser and I have seen too many times girls fed up of there natural hair so they go for something drastic soon after they miss there natural haircolour but it is awfull to get back because you have to bleach bath the colour on the hair which strips it down but dont be fooled it doesnt go to your natural colour... you still have to grow the colour out... also when you cant lighten coloured hair other then bleach but when it's black if u try to even bleach it, it will go orange and patchy. id advise you to go for colour/s not so far from your natural to enhance it and maybe get some flashes of creative colours through but not black x

i have different opinion ,, :)

u said u've never dyed ur hair ,, so it won't be good idea to start with "black , White, purple" colors,, even though u r young ,, u can do it later ..

for me i will say go with the brown ,, and put some low lights with the color light brown ..

.. u may dyed it yellow .. but u can't go immediately to the black .. coz it will be huge change coz u have blonde hair ,,

Rather than putting dye in, you could try coloured extentions. Bright and unusual colours like purple never last long in hair and it would take a lot of maintenance and cost to keep it looking good for long.

Extentions can be added to the underside of your hair and will last much long so long as you take care of them.

They come is alsorts of colours and you can have any combination of them.

I say get a nice brown and do purple underneath. It's not easy to get the color out of your hair. It does not fade quickly especially if you're going to bleach it white. [you probably won't make it there anyway] I'm sure most of the strand will break off :( Black will wash you out if you're pale and it's not easy to take out. I had black in my hair over a year. Bleaching does so much damage and it's so hard to repair. You really don't want straw like hair. You'll probably have to cut your hair short so it's not so damaged.

I say anything but bleach or black. Chocolate brown, red/orange [compliments your eyes] or highlights!

Well, dying of hair is not good actually. It damages the hair as hair is made up of proteins and when you dye it, the proteins will break down. This will cause the hair to cause dryness. However, blonde is a very nice colour as it reflects joy and happiness in someones life. You should be proud that you have such hair colour. Just think the best of yourself because whatever your hair colour is, your attitude matters. Good Luck!!

If its your first time of dying your hair, I wouldn't go too drastic.

Start off with a dark brown, or evena sandy one, and get pink or something.

Alot of people make that mistake of going too drastic, and their natural colour never grows back to how it was, or it comes back a murky orange colour.

And would your parents approve?

Just think about it, and start off little, and gradually get a bit more extreme, if you do plan on it, bleach blonde and other colours look fair radd too!

NO. your current combination sounds really beatiful. you only want to because you are bored, not because you think it would look great. if you get it you will regret it, and your hair will never be exactly the same as it is now. don't do it! x

whatever you decide to do. DO NOT go permanent...i made that mistake. my hair was about the same colour as yours and now its black...and permanent :(
