How do you dye your hair properly.
I'm 26 and I would say that my hair is about 50% white. I've always been really self conscious about that and have been dying my hair for 6 years more or less.
My hair is naturally black but when I look at other people's dyed black hair I'm thinking to myself: "Wow, it's such an ugly color."
Is there any way to dye one's hair black while looking natural or just don't look bad?
I follow the instructions in those boxes I buy but the color really turns out weird and just plain unattractive.
There's some people who dye their hair it does look good however, how do they do it?

Well first you should get that special shampoo for black-haired people and it will start to make your hair darker and glossier and then you can get a black glaze for hair because then if you don't like it it will fade eventually and those go more for the glossiness which makes hair look AMAZING!
Skip the dye. Go for the shine. If you dye your ahir you end up with that ugly growing-out line and you have to touch it up what a PAIN!

try a soft black vs. a blue black

my first suggestion is to lather your hair in nair. that gives it a nice base coat to prevent the color from fading to soon. then coat it in lemon juice to make your hair all white so you can start from scratch. next dip it in tar. finally youll have a nice black color.

they probably get it done professionally.
and your natural haircolor isn't black unless you're african-american, middle-eastern, or asain. its probably a really dark brown.
try going to a hairstylist. we know how to formulate color and what it takes to properly cover grey.
i personally like a guy with some gray hair. i think salt and pepper is sexy... :)~

If you've been dying your hair black and you've tried putting something else over it to change the color, it's futile. You can't lift your color if there's already color on your hair. You can strip it off (gently) with SalonCare Color Corrector (at Sally's for 12.99) and it does not contain bleach. It just strips off the dye/pigment.
Try a 2N or 3N color, that's a darkest brown before reaching black, and it's the most common dark hair color. Blue black hair color is pretty well unnatural for anyone. I've never met anyone with a true black hair color.
Since you're hair is 50% grey, you need to make sure you use a color one shade lighter than you intend because the greys absorb more color.
Maybe you should visit a salon and work with a stylist until you find the perfect color? Allover color isn't all that expensive.

I have to agree that your natural hair is most likely not a true level 1. I really have only encountered a few people with that hair color naturally in 14 years. I would suggest going up to a level 3 at least. I would use a permanent color on your regrowth only. I would not even use a semi-perm on the rest every time. You can freshen up the rest from time to time, but not everytime. Natural hair has a variance down the shaft. Only artificially colored hair is exactly the same color root to tip.
