Hair Straightener?

I've got really THICK hair. To use a flat iron it takes forever! I will typically use a hair dryer and a hair brush, but it still takes a long time and makes my hair sort of frizzy.

Whats the best hair straightener that does not take a long time? Price is not an issue....I need a good one that doesn't take 2 hours to do my whole head!

I have the same exact type of hair. I'm talking about a handful of hair, is about a quarter of my hair. It's ridiculously thick. It's gorgeous when it's straight though, I won't deny that. =) be proud of it hun. but i've tried every straightener from cheapy 20 dollar ones, to 200 dollar ones. The best one I've tried is the Sedu. It's about 120 or so, but takes SO much less time than the Chi. And it works faster, and your hair won't frizz nearly as much as it does with the Chi. Trust me on that.

That website shows before and after pics, it has reviews from people who own it, and you can order it from that website. They deliver quickly, and they have an excellent return policy and everything.

Also, you can check out the Chi, and other top rated straighteners.

hope this helps your quest for the perfect straightener!

but i'd highlyyyy reccomend the sedu. =)

If you have a Sally Beauty supply nearby, check out some of theirs. Every one I've gotten from there I've totally loved. I have the same problem!! If you don't have one nearby, you can probably order one online. Any of theirs are good. Don't waste your money buying one at Wal*Mart... they're all junk.

well, it might always take you a long time to flat iron your hair if you have a lot of it. you could try a style with lots of texture, by getting it razor cut or thinned out to debulk it all, and make it more manageable. blow drying it with a brush to relax some of the frizz will help, and use smoothing products, such as kenra silkening gloss, or paul mitchell super skinny serum, and a smoothing balm of some sort. those will moisurize your style, and help keep it straight, as well as protect it from the heat of your flat iron and blow dryer. but i reccommend the chi. they retail at about $135+ but they are ceramic PLATED (not ceramic coated) and heat up nice and hot. but the slower you run the flat iron down the section of hair, the less damage you will cause, and you will have to go back over that section less as well. try using a comb in your other hand if you can coordinate, it helps keep hair smooth as well and keeps you from burning your hands on hot hair! hope this helps!

My hair is thick and the straightner i use is the best. I use the Remington Wet 2 Straight Ceramic Straightener.

You can buy it at wal-mart. Here is a link showing you what it looks like and you can order it from here: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.d...

I use Garnier Fructis Shampoo (Sleek and Shine) and the leave in condtioning cream (Sleek and Shine)

My hair is so silky and shiny.

You really should get a CHI flat iron. I'm a professional and let me tell you, the CHI is awesome! I would highly recommend the CHI iron. It is small and black and the weird thing is that it doesn't say "CHI" on the actual flat iron. Trust me on this! It's great! Also, make sure your hair is completely dry when you iron it and spray on a good heat activated product before ironing it. I recommend either Redken's Spray Starch or Sexy Hair Concept's Soya Want Flat Hair. You simply spray each section before ironing to help protect your hair and also get it really straight. Don't be alarmed when you hear a sizzle! The spray, along with the CHI ,will save you time and give you great results.

if you really can't handle your hair, get a japanese straight (lasts 1 year) or a reverse perm (2-6 months)...I know it is for wavy hair, but it works that same for kinky/frizzy hair
