Dry hair issues?

Hi, my hair had be trimmed a while ago by my mom, because it is way to long and thick for anyone else to do it. My hair dresser would probably take a lot off anyway, and my mom has been doing my hair since I was little. The problem is the ends of my hair feel dry, but I had it trimmed. Not a lot was taken off, because I don't want to have short hair. And I use a deep conditioner twice a week sunday and wednesday, because of my thick hair. Is there a better conditioner I should be using?

Thanks!

Using a deep conditioner twice a week may not be enough if you have very thick hair. You may also need a good leave-in conditioner to help with those ends.I suggest Tigi Bedhead Ego Boost leave in conditioner. It smells great and will help with those dry ends.

avacodo. mix it up with your conditioner

Sounds silly, but it will put the moitsure back in your hair....just make sure you have rinsed ALL of it out after letting it sit for 5 minutes or so.

Dry hair issues?

use Paintene Pro-V Restoratives

it restores your hair from 2 years of damage in just one month

Dry hair issues?

just apply a thin layer of oil throughout your hair

I agree with Kylie Paige about the avocado part. My biology teacher told me that avocado and sesame are good for your hair whether you eat them or put it in your hair.

My hair used to have that problem, and I used the Pantine Pro-V that had the brownish goldish color on the logo. I don't remember what it was called, but I do know you could also use the "Pantine Pro-V restoratives." It made my hair look and feel a lot healthier.

You're going to think I'm crazy, but I have the same problem and I have to use something called cholesterol. It's in the ethnic hair care section, can be a couple different colors usually green. I always just drench my hair in it, put on a shower cap, wrap my hair in a towel and either leave it all day, or sleep in it (usually sleep in it) it makes my hair SO soft and I only have to do it about every 2 weeks.

i have super thick and dry so i use sunsilk (pink) and it seems to work good for me

terax crema is the most wonderful product in the world, leave it in for 15 minutes then wash it out.

Dry hair issues?

use a leave in conditioner. or call your hair stylist and ask what to use.

Since ur hair is really dry, go out and buy some products for it. Like Dove Frizz Surem... or Protective sprays so your hair wont dry out.. There is alot of products out there for dry hair so go and find a spray or leave in treatment for that.

For Conditioners i suggest using OJON it makes ur hair conditioned and silky and rehydrates ur hair.. But its expensive so if ur looking for something cheaper Use Dove.. Or Go to a Salon and ask them what they think you should use.

I had a friend that used Mayo and she said that it works great but it does take about 3 or 4 rinses to get it all out. I've never tried it though.

Try Neutrogena Triple Moisture conditioner. They have a Triple Moisture deep treatment too. It's fantastic. My hair dries out pretty bad in the winter and I have found this to be the best. It's in an orange/peach colored bottle and they carry it at Walmart. Also, are you using a leave-in conditioner in addition to one in the shower? Regardless of whether you do deep treatments or not, you really should be using a leave-in that you spray on before you brush your wet hair. Aussie Hair Insurance is my absolute favorite! Good luck!

One reason to go to a professional stylist is that their scissors are or should be of very high quality and when they cut a strand of hair it is clean and crisp. I suspect either your Mom's scissors aren't professional and the scissors couldn't give you a good cut, or not enough was trimmed to get rid of all the dead ends. Good luck.

Dry hair issues?

definitely use a leave-in conditioner after you wash your hair, I use L'oreal Professionel's "Absolut Repair" http://ca.lorealprofessionnel.com/_en/_c...

Also put a serum on your ends, I use "BioSilk" and Avon's "Straight %26amp; Sleek Dry Ends Serum"

try a mayonnaise mask in your hair every once and a while and rinse your hair with apple cider vinegar about once a week
